Surrounded by books, Greg and Lanna talk about photography, travel and Cicadas. Greg tells Lanna he likes it best when one looks "like the environment is having its way with you." Lanna tells Greg how easy it is to update his website. Greg calls for everyone to document their lives and their environment with photography. And he answers 10 questions.
I'm just a guy with a camera, a bunny with antlers and a blog.

In the Hutchinson Kansas Library, Patsy and Lanna chat about nutburgers, being happy, and Southern Women. They discuss male vs. female styles of conversation. Patsy talks about her career and how "some things are meant to be said in our inside voice." And she answers 10 questions. Then Patsy and Lanna have a mostly cheerful conversation about how they each dealt with a death of a parent.
This is a longer than usual episode. Enjoy its awesomeness!
Patsy Terrell blends her knowledge of new media with her foundation in traditional marketing and public relations for maximum benefit to clients.
She works with authors, the tourism industry, museums, businesses and organizations to identify their goals and help choose the best tools to achieve them.
Her background includes work in radio, television, newspapers and magazines. She has been using social media since it first came on the scene.
Patsy also does voice work, and freelance writing and reporting. She writes a monthly column in the statewide magazine, "Kansas Country Living." She is the author of three cookbooks and five geneaology books.
I dabble in many things, and make a living at some of them. I'm a writer, social media facilitator, voice talent, ponderer, traveler, afternoon tea aficionado, artist, consultant, reader, journal keeper, speaker, baker, journalist, collector of vintage prettiness, PR person, and Christmas lover. In my spare time I host journaling, visioning and creativity retreats. Otherwise, I just spend my days being incredibly thankful. Recent moment of self-awareness: I use too many exclamation points. I'm trying to stop. Really!

Here is a special episode of Lounging with LannaLee with three shorter interviews in it! Each person was asked the same five questions, but as you can hear, the answers run the gamut; from silly to serious.
The first two interviews are from Kansasians Jack Mace and James "Jiggy Jaguar" Lowe. I met them when I traveled on the road to the SmallTown2012 conference last week, and they were kind enough to chat with me for a moment. The third interview is from a video I shot with John Hill Rogers (converted to audio-only for your lisenting pleasure).
I love doing these shorter interviews, and I'll keep doing them. Some of them will be available to everyone, others only for premium subscribers.

John is a Creative Cognitist, a title given him by one of his creative partners. A proud ADHD adult, he has many creative pursuits, all of which are supported by his career as an Information Security Consultant/Systems Engineer. He has worked as a cook and chef, and loves working with food, especially locally produced. He is a writer of essays, short-story and poetry, currently working on a book about the human shadow, and pursuing an English degree at USM. He is a musician who studied jazz vocal in another college life, and plays the flute and drums. John has also worked as a professional coach, trainer and organizational developer, working with individuals and organizations to overcome challenges and improve. His curiosity and drive to connect dots keeps him always looking for new endeavors. His latest endeavor is a seminar entitled: Creativity and All That Jazz, during which a live jazz quartet is used to model the 5 core principals of successful organizations. A book on this seminar is also in the works.
